Supports a woman's right to choose: "I support a woman's right to choose and to make her own health care decisions. I support each individual's right to make informed, independent decisions about sex, health, and family planning. It is critical to promote policies that help prevent unintended pregnancies and make abortion less necessary, but the right to safe, legal abortion must be protected. When it has been banned, abortions do not stop, they occur under unsafe conditions that jeopardize the lives and health of women and teens."

Served as the first ally Board Chair of The Legacy Fund of the Columbus Foundation, an endowment fund created by and for the central Ohio LGBTQ+ community, and is a staunch and vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.

Signed the Ohio State Bar Association’s Judicial Election Campaign Advertising Monitoring Committee's "clean campaign agreement", agreeing to conduct her campaign in accordance with the pledge

When asked if the 2020 election results were legitimate, said: "The nation's 2020 presidential vote was certified according to the rule of law by Congress, and no governmental body or court has found the 2020 presidential election to be invalid. I respect the rule of law as a justice of the Ohio Supreme Court."
